The NCATS National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) is a secure data enclave to hold health record information from patients tested and treated for COVID-19, a collaborative analytical platform enable COVID-related research on a harmonized data set built from the EHR data from contributing sites, as well as a community of scientists organized to use this data. Since September 2020, N3C has been accessible to the biomedical research community to study, probe, and answer clinically important questions about COVID-19.  With the N3C data enclave, researchers can analyze information regarding the clinical outcomes of those treated for COVID-19.  N3C is a partnership between NCATS and its CTSA Program, which is a nationwide network of biomedical research institutions addressing important roadblocks in clinical research by working locally, regionally, and nationally.


  • Oversight of the overall program
  • Cross-coordination within NCATS and support of NCATS leadership team members
  • Provide deeper level thinking and discussions on specific issues relating to the N3C enclave


  • Masters degree or PhD in Bioinformatics / Science Management or closely related field.
  • 8-10 years experience managing complex scientific programs
  • Holistic understanding of complex scientific program needs
  • Excellent communication skills and situational awarenes
  • Able to distill up information to leadership levels for high level perspectives and input
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to connect and integrate multi-disiplinary groups.
  • Sound judgment, positive attitude, and creative outlook required.
  • NIH or similar government experience preferred.
